Job summary

FullShift Staffing seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to assist a Physical Therapist in helping patients recover and regain mobility after illness or surgery. You will help with rehabilitation, balance training and daily activities to restore independence.

Under supervision of licensed therapists, you will document services for billing, follow the Plan of Care, and develop individualized therapy programs. A valid PTA license in the state is required, with a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Requires valid Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification in the state of practice, or proof of license eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide support care to residents aiming to recover and rehabilitate from serious illness or injury.
• Assist in providing quality patient care under supervision of licensed therapists.
• Document all services to ensure accurate and timely billing of therapy services.
• Ensure patient care follows the Plan of Care and organizational guidelines and complies with federal/state laws.
• Under supervision of a Physical Therapist, develop and implement individualized therapy programs to restore and enhance performance.
