Job summary

UnityPoint Health - Meriter Therapy seeks an Experience Specialist - Rehab to support outpatient therapy clinics. You will assist front desk reception, patient scheduling, registration processes, and patient navigation from entry to exit of the clinic, while ensuring smooth flow.

You will rotate through room readiness, equipment maintenance, and supply ordering, and collaborate with the therapy team to deliver a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience in hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
• Receptionist/clerical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work within the context of patient-centered care in an outpatient therapy clinic setting.
• Work collaboratively with the therapy team to support exceptional patient experience and outcomes.
• Embrace lifelong learning: give and receive feedback and learn from team members.
• Engage in staff meetings and project groups to support exceptional patient care.
• Remain up to date with clinic operation changes and workflows.
• Demonstrate willingness to be flexible and take on additional responsibilities to support the team and process improvement initiatives.
