Job summary

The role involves communicating with patients and caregivers, handling POC documentation, coordinating transfers and scheduling, and supporting billing and Early Steps coordination with clinical teams while ensuring environment of care standards.

Qualifications

• AHA CPR AED certification maintained in good standing.
• Previous customer service or clerical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with communication to patients and caregivers about evaluation and treatment.
• Process and monitor Plan of Care (POC) documentation for evaluations and treatments.
• Track and follow-up on POC with doctors and patients/caregivers.
• Monitor patient transfers; support care team and queue management.
• Daily charge reconciliation and follow-up to address misses or corrections.
• Collect, organize, and scan patient documents into the EMR per HIM rules.
• Support discharge processes for patient accounts.
• Assist in confirming appointments and minimize no-shows; scheduling support.
• Coordinate care and billing support for Early Steps with clinical team.
• Maintain clean, stocked treatment areas; follow equipment cleaning logs.
