Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK is seeking a Nursing Student to join our acute care team as a Nurse Tech.

You will work with diverse patient populations, assist with basic patient care under RN supervision, and help maintain safety and quality standards. Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in and complete first semester of an accredited Nursing Program or hold Oklahoma CNA licensure.
• Must pass and complete each semester including clinical/theory components to remain Nurse Tech.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence in assembling and operating equipment for patient care under the supervision of an RN.
• Keeps appropriate people aware of pertinent changes or problems in patient condition.
• Participates in planned education for the patient per Patient/Family Education policy with consideration of developmental differences.
• Reports variances according to risk management processes of UHS.
