Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK seeks a Nursing Student/Nurse Tech to join the team. You will work under an RN to assemble and operate patient-care equipment and participate in patient education, with supervision and ongoing competency assessment.

The role requires current enrollment in a nursing program or CNA licensure in Oklahoma, BLS, and completion of a pre-employment assessment. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across departments.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an accredited Nursing Program or Oklahoma CNA licensure.
• Must remain in status of Nurse Tech by completing required semesters and clinicals.
• BLS certification required.
• Must complete pre-employment assessment.
• Must demonstrate each task before performing independently.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and operate equipment for patient care under RN supervision.
• Inform appropriate people of changes or problems in patient condition.
• Participate in patient education per policy with developmental considerations.
• Report variances according to risk management processes of UHS.
