Job summary

LifeBridge Health's Sinai Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented professional to verify insurance and obtain authorizations for therapy services. You will support back-end operations, verify benefits, handle prior authorizations, and assist with scheduling to ensure timely patient access to care.

Responsibilities include maintaining patient records, resolving insurance issues, and communicating with providers, therapists, and patients to coordinate seamless care while upholding payer requirements

Qualifications

• Formal training/previous experience with medical terminology.
• Two years professional or hospital billing experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in related roles.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorizations for OT/PT/Speech therapy services.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to support benefit verification, prior authorizations and scheduling support.
• Maintain accurate patient records and resolve insurance-related issues.
• Communicate with providers, therapists and patients to coordinate care and ensure compliance with payer requirements.
