Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years experience in a hospital or physician practice business office preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage high call volumes.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Verify demographic and insurance information for patient admissions and registration.
• Obtain pre-certification and authorization for procedures and admissions.
• Communicate with insurance carriers and providers; document in the medical record.
• Generate reports to support verification of benefits and scheduling.
• Maintain accurate records and collaborate with Utilization Review and Scheduling teams.
