Job summary

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for the Rehab unit in Somerset, KY. This on-site, full-time day role supports nursing staff by assisting with ADLs, vital signs, and mobility tasks for rehabilitation patients.

You will work under a Registered Nurse, ensuring compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining safety and documentation standards in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Current Kentucky Nurse Aide Certification required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within established timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding and mobility.
• Obtains and records vital signs, weights, input/output and other patient care data.
• Assists with ambulation, transfers, positioning and range-of-motion exercises.
• Observes changes in patient condition and reports promptly to the licensed nurse.
• Maintains a safe, clean and organized patient environment.
• Collaborates with nurses, therapists and physicians to support patient outcomes.
