Job summary

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our patient‑care team on a PRN basis in Somerset, KY. You’ll provide essential support under RN supervision, monitor vital signs, assist with daily living activities, and help keep patient areas clean and stocked.

Required Kentucky CNA certification, current listing on the Kentucky Board of Nursing, and a current or soon‑to‑be BLS card.

Qualifications

• Current Kentucky CNA certification with active listing on the Kentucky Board of Nursing.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care activities as delegated by an RN, including vitals and possibly glucose checks, and records intake/output.
• Assists with personal care and activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, mobility).
• Reports abnormal findings or changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Keeps patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean and orderly.
