Job summary

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support patient care on a PRN basis in Somerset, KY. The role involves basic patient care under RN supervision, assisting with ADLs, and ensuring clean, stocked patient areas.

Applicants must have a Kentucky CNA certification active on the Kentucky Nurse Aide Registry, a high school diploma or GED, and a current or soon-to-be BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must hold Kentucky CNA certification with active listing on the Kentucky Nurse Aide Registry.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certificate or within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care activities as delegated by an RN, including monitoring vital signs and possibly blood glucose measurements.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, ambulation).
• Reports abnormal findings or changes in conditions to nursing staff.
• Keeps patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean and orderly.
