Job summary

Advocate Health in Manitowoc, WI seeks a Rehabilitation support assistant to assist therapists in patient care and department operations. You will help with positioning, modalities, exercises, and patient scheduling in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

The role requires a friendly, organized individual with healthcare exposure and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Training provided; no weekends. Base hours around 30 per week with some shift variations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification within 6 months (if required by department).
• Typically 1 year of experience in health care.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient positioning and transfers under supervision.
• Prepare and apply therapeutic modalities; assist with routine patient exercises.
• Support therapist efficiency by initiating treatments and coordinating care.
• Handle registration, scheduling, and billing tasks for patients.
• Maintain and organize department records and equipment.
• Ensure a clean, safe therapy environment and follow safety checks.
