Qualifications

• Supervise staff including hiring, performance appraisals, and disciplinary action.
• Understand and apply Florida Statutes, rules, and regulations for licensing.
• Investigate, analyze, and resolve complaints.
• Organize, analyze, and compile data.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Communicate effectively and establish working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Supervise three Regulatory Specialist II staff in the Post-Licensure Unit.
• Oversee license renewals, reactivations, and status changes for physicians and related professionals.
• Develop and implement regulatory policies.
• Resolve complaints in coordination with other state offices.
• Ensure on-site presence five days a week in Tallahassee.
