Job summary

Agency for Health Care Administration in Florida seeks a Regulatory Specialist I to support survey and licensure activities across facilities. You will handle daily administrative tasks, enter facility inspections into ASPEN and AEM, and ensure accurate data in licensure systems.

The role requires knowledge of AHCA regulations, confidentiality, and use of Microsoft Office; weekend/holiday work may be required as mission essential.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of professional or nonprofessional experience in administrative work with Microsoft Office and computer data entry.
• Preference will be given to candidates with a degree in a related field.
• Preference will be given to applicants with 6 or more months of experience as a personnel Liaison, and/ or experience in specific software applications: ASPEN, Laserfiche, Versa Regulation, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook), Corrflow, MFMP and/or CASPER.

Responsibilities

• Enter facility inspections into ASPEN and AEM.
• Reviews, corrects and ensures correct database entries supporting the licensure and certification programs.
• Tracks draft survey kits and prepares kits for supervisory review prior to mailing completed survey reports to providers.
• Composes and prepares correspondence regarding regulation of facilities and other licensee.
• Assists field office staff with administrative/human resources related questions.
