Job summary

TC Energy is seeking a motivated Regulatory Analyst to join the U.S. Rates and Regulatory Department, reporting to the Manager of Rates. This role supports the U.S.

Natural Gas business, focusing on the design of interstate transportation and storage rates, with opportunities in financial analysis and forecasting. You will build Excel models, analyze large data sets, and collaborate with Marketing, Accounting, and other groups to inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, environmental studies, law, or a related field.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience (Internship experience will be considered).
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel with data analysis, reporting and functions like VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and data validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update Excel models to analyze volume and cost data, allocate costs between service types, to design transmission and storage rates.
• Develop and update financial spreadsheet models and projects eligible for Modernization programs.
• Provide research and analysis on financial and regulatory projects and present summaries.
• Work within an integrated team to drive pipeline rate making strategy.
• Assist in the preparation of filings to regulatory agencies and apply findings to company initiatives.
• Represent pipeline assets in rate and modernization proceedings.
