Job summary

Atmos Energy is seeking a regulatory professional to prepare rate-related filings for regulatory authorities and tariffs in alignment with current orders and tariffs. You will develop and review analytical exhibits, support testimony, and respond to data requests from interveners.

The role requires a Bachelor's in accounting/finance with some related experience, strong communication skills, and advanced computer proficiency to build models and analyze billing data for regulatory proceedings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or related field) with two years of related experience or equivalent.
Ability to communicate clearly with internal/external customers on technical concepts.

Responsibilities

Prepare rate-related filings for regulatory authorities and tariffs.
Develop and review analytical exhibits supporting rate filings and testimony.
Prepare responses to intervener data requests with analytical exhibits.
Coordinate information flow between internal departments for timely responses.
Develop financial/statistical models to improve rate filing efficiency and accuracy.
Review billing data to ensure accuracy for regulatory proceedings.
Prepare and file compliance reports as required by regulators.
Monitor rates in other jurisdictions for benchmarking.
Calculate pro forma adjustments for rate-case purposes.
