Job summary

Citizens Energy Group is seeking a Rates and Regulatory Analyst to prepare and analyze state regulatory filings for gas, steam, water, and wastewater utilities. You will design financial models to forecast costs, support rate cases, and coordinate regulatory actions while working with cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong analytical, communication, and data handling skills, with a preference for regulatory experience and the ability to manage multiple projects on a flexible hybrid

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a major with significant analytical or quantitative skills or three years of Citizens experience.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn to work with large data sets and translate into understandable content.
• Excellent written and oral communication; able to present to groups and convey results clearly.
• Team-oriented and able to collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing regulatory deliverables for rate cases and regulatory filings.
• Work with financial models and data management for regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with experts to prepare testimony, exhibits, and work papers.
• Communicate with internal/external customers regarding rates and regulatory implications.
• Participate on project teams within Regulatory Affairs or across the Trust.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
