Job summary

State of Florida, Department of Health, in Tallahassee, seeks a Programs Operations Administrator to oversee regulatory and administrative processes for the Board of Massage Therapy and the Council of Licensed Midwifery. The role reports to the Board Executive Director and manages a small team, including acting as Executive Director when necessary.

The position is full-time, on-site, requiring coordination of meetings, compliance oversight, and staff development within the Bureau of Health Care

Qualifications

• Must be physically present in the office.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), iBuilder, iViewer, Adobe Acrobat, and LEIDS systems.
• At least two (2) years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regulatory and administrative processes for the Board of Massage Therapy and Council of Licensed Midwifery.
• Prepare agendas for Board and Council meetings; travel to and represent the Board or Department at meetings.
• Review enforcement and licensure data for the licensure process.
• Lead Board office management and special projects; act as Acting Board Executive Director when needed.
