Job summary

PalmLeaf Massage and Wellness is seeking a Lead Massage Therapist/DEM to oversee spa operations and ensure compliance with Florida Board requirements. You will supervise contracted therapists, perform Swedish to deep-tissue techniques, and maintain client records while ensuring a relaxing, safe environment for guests.

The role requires an active Florida massage license, CPR/AED certification, and CEU in Human Trafficking, with 3+ years of professional massage experience in a resort or hotel

Qualifications

• Active Florida massage license required.
• CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days.
• CEU in Human Trafficking as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Manage additional 1099 Massage Therapists.
• Ensure stateboard/poster compliance and signs are posted as required.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and organization.
• Consult with clients to assess pain, safety, and medical history as needed.
• Perform Swedish, deep-tissue, hot stone and other modalities as requested.
• Communicate with clients during massage regarding pressure and comfort.
• Provide a relaxing environment and educate clients on home care.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and attend trainings.
