Starr Companies in New York is seeking an Operations Analyst to support regulatory reporting, master data management, and policy number governance. You will act as a key liaison across Operations, Underwriting, Finance, Actuarial, Reinsurance, IT, and Corporate Reporting to ensure timely regulatory communications and accurate data.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 1–2+ years of experience in operations, regulatory reporting, insurance operations, or related functions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data validation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Monitor regulatory and operational developments and maintain tracking tools.
• Coordinate Master Data Services (MDS) field/profit center requests and verify data elements.
• Manage policy number blocks across profit centers and enforce governance.
• Compile, validate, and distribute monthly operational metrics reports.
• Process biweekly WAHVE invoices and allocate expenses across profit centers.
• Coordinate regulatory data calls and ensure timely, accurate submissions.
