Job summary

Google's YouTube Trust and Safety team is looking for a Regulatory Operations Specialist to handle legal and regulatory escalations and implement compliance processes for emerging content regulations. You will ensure policies are enforced end-to-end, from detection to removal and appeals, while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in data analytics, trust and safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related fields.
• Experience in building dashboards, data collection/transformation, data visualization or scripting language (e.g. Python).

Responsibilities

• Own, manage, and resolve policy escalations from legal and regulatory teams, driving alignment with Trust and Safety and Legal leads.
• Enforce YouTube's Community Guidelines, including coordinating timing, internal alignment, and internal and external communications.
• Work closely with Legal to address sensitive/challenging policy escalations, including investigations related to trends.
• Operationalize new regulations for YouTube Trust and Safety, and manage, maintain, and improve those compliance operations.
• Drive operational improvements, including working with Product, Operations, and Engineering on technical solutions and demonstrate excellence in operations management, ensuring all escalations are triaged, tracked, investigated, resolved, and communicated accurately using internal tools and systems.
