Job summary

Google's YouTube Trust and Safety team is hiring a Policy Escalation Specialist in San Bruno, CA. This role focuses on managing policy escalations, coordinating with stakeholders, and developing preventative solutions to address future issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in escalations or crisis management.
• 2 years of experience applying policy to online content and judging violative content.
• Experience working in an operations-oriented organization.
• Ability to work non-standard, on-call weekend and holiday hours.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage policy escalations, driving consensus across all stakeholders.
• Review graphic, controversial, and offensive video content in line with YouTube's community guidelines.
• Develop knowledge across all product areas to ensure faster, more efficient resolution and implement preventative solutions.
• Ensure escalations are triaged, tracked, investigated, resolved, and communicated using internal tools and systems.
