Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Reportable Event Management Specialist to oversee and manage incident reporting within the IDD space. You will ensure regulatory compliance, investigate events, and coordinate follow-up actions across departments.

The role emphasizes liaison with regulatory bodies, documentation accuracy, and data-driven improvements to safety and quality for people with developmental disabilities and mental health needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
• Knowledge of Federal, State, Local regulations concerning services to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Experience with incident management, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance

Responsibilities

• Coordinate timely and accurate reporting of incidents and events meeting regulatory criteria
• Conduct thorough investigations including staff interviews and documentation reviews
• Serve as liaison with regulatory agencies and prepare required reports within deadlines
• Develop and implement corrective action plans and monitor effectiveness
• Provide staff training on reporting procedures and regulatory requirements
• Maintain a secure database of events and generate management reports
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to reduce incident frequency and severity
• Perform additional duties as needed to support organizational objectives

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Bachelor’s degree preferred
