Job summary

Hankey Group seeks a Regulatory Compliance Exam Specialist in Las Vegas, NV to serve as a primary contact for state and federal examinations. You will assist regulators, develop corrective actions for deficiencies, and ensure timely responses to all requests and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves coordinating examinations with agencies such as CFPB, DOJ, FTC, SEC, NY DFS, and others, and delivering root-cause analyses and remediation plans to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University in Business related discipline.
• Preferred to have at least three years previous experience in the auto finance industry.

Responsibilities

• Help provide responses to state and federal requests for information.
• Coordinate state and federal regulatory examinations from agencies such as CFPB, DOJ, FTC, SEC, NY DFS, DBO, TX OCCC and others.
• Develop and implement corrective actions to resolve cited exceptions from examinations.
• Schedule follow up internal audits to monitor effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Provide written responses to exception reports and audit results to regulators.
• Prepare internal reports and summaries on incidents of non-compliance with legal, regulatory and policy requirements.
• Develop and present Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Plans to the compliance board and directors.
• Work with Chief Compliance Officer and Regulatory Compliance Counsel to validate cited exceptions before remediation.
• Collaborate with business units to design and maintain monitoring policies for regulatory compliance.
