Midway Auto Group is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Exam Specialist to act as the primary contact for state and federal regulatory examinations in an on-site Dallas office. You will coordinate examinations with agencies such as the CFPB, DOJ, FTC, SEC, NY DFS, DBO, TX OCCC, and others, and implement corrective actions to address deficiencies identified in reports.

The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage tight deadlines, and collaboration with the Chief Compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a business-related field.
• Preferred 3 years of auto finance experience.
• Knowledge of multi-state regulatory requirements for auto finance and CFPB laws.
• Strong written and verbal communication with regulators and leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to state and federal regulator requests for information.
• Coordinate regulatory examinations with agencies such as CFPB, DOJ, FTC, SEC, NY DFS, DBO, TX OCCC and others.
• Develop and implement corrective actions to address deficiencies cited in examination reports.
• Schedule follow-up internal audits to monitor remediation effectiveness.
• Provide written responses to exception reports and audit results to regulators.
• Prepare internal reports on incidents of non-compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Present root cause analyses and corrective action plans to the compliance board and directors.
• Collaborate with Chief Compliance Officer to validate cited exceptions before remediation.
• Work with business units to design, document, and maintain monitoring policies for regulatory compliance.
