Job summary

The Hankey Group is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Associate to serve as the point of contact for state and federal examinations and assist regulators with requests. You will help develop corrective actions addressing deficiencies and ensure deadlines are met in a time-sensitive environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating exams with agencies such as CFPB, DOJ, FTC, and SEC, and presenting root cause analyses with corrective action plans to the compliance board.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a business-related discipline.
• Preferred 3+ years experience in auto finance.
• Strong communication with regulators and senior management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as point of contact for state and federal examinations.
• Coordinate regulatory examinations across multiple agencies.
• Develop and implement corrective actions for exam findings.
• Schedule internal audits to monitor remediation effectiveness.
• Provide written responses to regulators and track non-compliance incidents.
• Prepare summaries on regulatory findings for leadership.
• Collaborate with CCO and Compliance Counsel to verify remediation validity.
• Partner with business units to design and maintain monitoring policies.
