Job summary

Hankey Group External in Dallas, TX seeks a Regulatory Compliance Exam Specialist to manage state and federal examinations, coordinating requests and developing corrective actions to address deficiencies cited in examination reports. The candidate will ensure deadlines are met and provide timely responses to regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
• Preferred 3 years of experience in auto finance regulatory compliance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Help respond to state and federal information requests.
• Coordinate regulatory examinations with agencies (CFPB, DOJ, FTC, SEC, NY DFS, DBO, TX OCCC, etc.).
• Develop and implement corrective actions for cited deficiencies.
• Schedule follow-up audits to monitor remediation effectiveness.
• Provide written responses to exception reports to regulators.
• Prepare internal reports on incidents of non-compliance.
