Job summary

Hankey Group in Dallas, TX is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Exam Specialist to be the primary contact for state and federal regulatory examinations. You will assist regulators on examination requests, develop corrective actions for deficiencies, and ensure timely responses to deadlines and inquiries.

Responsibilities include coordinating examinations with agencies such as the CFPB, DOJ, FTC, SEC, NY DFS, DBO, and TX OCCC, and presenting Root Cause Analyses with remediation plans to the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a business-related discipline.
• Experience in auto finance or related regulatory environment preferred.
• Ability to communicate professionally with regulators and management.

Responsibilities

• Provide responses to state and federal information requests.
• Coordinate regulatory examinations from agencies such as CFPB, DOJ, FTC, SEC, NY DFS, DBO, TX OCCC.
• Develop and implement corrective actions to address cited deficiencies.
• Schedule and monitor internal audits to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Prepare internal reports and summaries on non-compliance incidents.
• Develop Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Plans for the board and directors.
• Collaborate with the Chief Compliance Officer to validate exceptions before remediation.
