Job summary

American Family Insurance is seeking a Corporate Compliance Consultant to advance its regulatory compliance program with a focus on market conduct examinations, data calls, and industry surveys. You will analyze requirements, gather information, and ensure submissions are complete and well supported.

You will identify trends, contribute to remediation, and collaborate across business areas to strengthen processes and readiness.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service.
• Demonstrated experience interfacing with regulators, writing responses, and developing action plans to address findings or risks.
• Demonstrated experience investigating fraud or misconduct allegations.

Responsibilities

• Support market conduct examinations from initial notice through final response, coordinating requests and maintaining documentation.
• Coordinate regulatory data calls and surveys by reviewing requirements and preparing submissions.
• Review data and narrative responses for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with regulatory expectations.
• Maintain examination, data call, and survey records including logs and supporting docs.
• Communicate with business partners to clarify requests, resolve gaps, and meet deadlines.
• Identify potential compliance concerns and process improvements; elevate significant issues as needed.
• Assist with corrective action plans and monitor remediation activities to completion.
• Prepare status updates and reporting for compliance leadership and stakeholders.
• Contribute to procedures, templates, and tools to promote efficient regulatory responses.
• Support other corporate compliance initiatives and special projects.
