Job summary

The State of Florida, Department of Health, seeks a Regulatory Consultant to monitor compliance with Board Orders and related contract requirements. The role requires independent thinking, detailed analysis, and professional judgment in daily duties.

Responsibilities include reviewing orders, updating licensing data, handling public records requests, and presenting findings at board meetings. Frequent communication with respondents and colleagues is essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Knowledge of databases, compliance systems, and licensing systems.
• Strong understanding of laws, regulations, and government rules.

Responsibilities

• Timely review Board Orders and enter terms and discipline into the database.
• Update license statuses as related to orders and contract requirements.
• Communicate with respondents and involved parties in writing and verbally.
• Maintain accurate records of information, correspondence, and payments for compliance case management.
• Refer non-compliant respondents to collections or for new investigations as policy requires.
• Process all compliance cases per policy and procedure.
• Prepare documents for board meeting agendas and conduct necessary research.
• Present compliance cases at board meetings when required.
• Respond to public records requests per policy and procedure.
• Perform additional duties as required.
