Job summary

Florida Department of Health seeks a Regulatory Consultant to monitor compliance with Department and MQA Board Orders. The role requires independent thinking, detailed analysis, and professional judgment in performing duties related to compliance case management.

The position entails reviewing board orders, maintaining databases, communicating with respondents, compiling reports, and presenting cases at board meetings. Strong knowledge of laws, rules, and data management is essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; familiarity with databases.
• Understanding of compliance management and licensing systems.
• Knowledge of laws, rules, regulations and government procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to research and analyze information.

Responsibilities

• Timely review Board Orders and enter terms and discipline into the electronic database.
• Record license status changes related to orders and contract requirements.
• Communicate with respondents and involved parties in writing and verbally.
• Review and record information, correspondence, reports, and monies related to compliance case management.
• Refer non-compliant respondents to collections or new investigations.
• Process all compliance cases per established policy and procedure.
• Prepare documents for board meeting agendas; conduct research as needed.
• Present compliance cases at board meetings as required.
• Research and prepare information, reports and presentations as directed.
• Respond to public records requests as established in policy.
• Perform other duties as required.
