Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals in Boston is offering a Spring 2027 Co-op in Global Regulatory Affairs – Strategy and Operations. The six-month program runs January through June 2027, onsite or hybrid in Boston, and focuses on building automated, AI-enabled processes for leadership reporting.

You will work under the Chief of Staff guidance to organize, develop, and drive key activities, with owned projects and a final presentation to the GRA leadership team.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a business-focused graduate program or science with business minor.
• Available full-time in Boston on-site or hybrid for six months (Jan–Jun 2027).
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel; able to build executive-ready slides and data views.
• Experience using workflow tools or AI assistants to automate tasks.
• Strong written communication and ability to organize ambiguous work.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated workflows and dashboards for GRA strategy and operations.
• Support recurring leadership reports, calendars, and operating rhythms.
• Maintain forward agenda calendar, topics, pre-reads, and meeting recaps.
• Organize supporting materials into a structured repository with clear ownership.
• Deliver a final presentation to the GRA leadership team.
