Job summary

Vertex is offering a six-month Global Regulatory Affairs - Strategy and Operations co-op in Boston. You will support the Chief of Staff and GRA Leadership Team by organizing activities, driving automation, and developing AI-enabled processes.

The role provides real exposure to senior leadership priorities and a final presentation to leadership. Applicants should be pursuing an advanced degree, be available full-time Jan–June 2027, and comfortable with cross-functional collaboration,

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a graduate program with permission for a full-time co-op
• Must be available on-site or hybrid in Boston for six months (Jan–Jun 2027)
• Able to build executive-ready slides and data views using PowerPoint/Excel
• Experience using technology to automate repeatable work (AI assistants acceptable)
• Strong written communication and ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Organize and drive key activities across GRA with a focus on automation
• Develop automated, AI-enabled reports and recurring dashboards
• Maintain RALT operating rhythms and forward agenda calendars
• Create structured repositories with clear ownership and update conventions
• Deliver a final project presentation to the GRA leadership team
