Job summary

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of clerical or administrative office experience.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
  • Knowledge of general office methods and procedures; familiarity with records management, billing, and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative and operational support for the agency's licensing, permitting, inspection, and other regulatory programs.
  • Reviews and processes applications, permits, licenses, registrations, renewals, transfers, and related documentation for completeness and conformity with established agency requirements.
  • Maintains regulatory records, databases, and financial records; processes fees and accounts receivable.
  • Responds to inquiries from regulated businesses, licensees, applicants, vendors, and the public regarding status and requirements.
  • Coordinates administrative activities with inspectors, management, and staff; ensures proper documentation and compliance with procedures.
