TEKsystems in Chicago, IL is seeking a Software Engineer to support a critical Regulatory Transaction Reporting Platform. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions across multiple jurisdictions, focusing on high-quality production code and robust testing.

Ideal candidates have a BS in CS or related field, 3+ years of software development, and strong OOP with Python. You'll work in a hybrid environment with senior engineers and stakeholders, contributing to continuous improvement

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 1+ years of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) experience.
• Strong understanding of source control tools such as Git or SVN.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test automation.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions for regulatory reporting applications.
• Translate business and technical requirements into high-quality, production-ready code.
• Build reusable, efficient, and testable applications using modern software engineering practices.
• Collaborate closely with senior engineers, technical leads, and business stakeholders.
• Create technical documentation including system designs, architecture diagrams, and development specifications.
• Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure successful deployments.
• Support and enhance existing applications while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in L3 production support and troubleshooting as needed.
• Champion quality engineering standards, code reviews, and development best practices.
