Job summary

Axos Bank seeks a Vice President of Regulatory Technology to modernize Compliance with AI, automation, analytics, and scalable tech solutions. You will lead a cross-functional team partnering with Compliance, Technology, Data Analytics, and business leaders to drive a data-driven regulatory program.

The role requires 10+ years in banking/regulatory fields and 5+ years directing regtech initiatives, with strong experience in AI/analytics and governance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in banking/financial services regulatory compliance or risk management.
• 5+ years leading regtech or compliance technology initiatives.
• Experience implementing AI, automation, analytics, and reporting in regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of CMS, risk frameworks, and banking regulatory requirements.
• Experience with multiple compliance areas and regulatory change management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Compliance RegTech strategy and roadmap.
• Identify and implement AI, workflow, and analytics across Compliance.
• Lead initiatives for regulatory change management, testing, and reporting.
• Design automated workflows and reporting to reduce manual effort.
• Build executive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and AI platforms.
• Translate regulatory requirements into scalable tech solutions.
• Establish governance and monitoring standards for AI/automation.
• Support regulatory examinations and audits of technology initiatives.
• Lead a high-performing RegTech function and advise executives.
