Job summary

AllianceBernstein seeks a Senior Technology Manager in Legal & Compliance to lead the technology portfolio supporting regulatory controls, surveillance, and risk functions. You will shape strategy, coordinate across Nashville and Pune, and ensure delivery of critical in-house and vendor solutions.

You will drive AI-enabled improvements, align with governance standards, and partner with senior leaders to strengthen the firm’s control environment and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, or related field, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of progressive technology experience, including 3–5+ years managing teams delivering business applications.
• Direct experience supporting Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Audit functions and their technology platforms.
• Experience in AML/sanctions screening platforms and surveillance systems.
• Experience leading globally distributed teams and managing blended staff.
• Experience in financial services technology and regulated environments preferred.
• Proven ability to manage a hybrid portfolio of in-house apps and vendor SaaS.
• Executive presence with strong communication to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global team of product owners, business analysts, technical analysts, and application support across Nashville and Pune.
• Own end-to-end delivery across the portfolio: intake, design, implementation, testing, release, and production support for in-house and vendor SaaS.
• Establish and manage the technology roadmap for the portfolio with business owners and Corporate Technology leadership.
• Oversee platform health and vendor management, including contract negotiation, SLAs, and risk oversight.
• Champion Generative AI adoption across Legal, Compliance, Audit, and Risk with governance and risk controls.
• Partner with Information Security and Enterprise Architecture to meet regulatory requirements.
