Job summary

MetLife's Global Technology team seeks a Director, Head of Compliance Technology to set strategy, own delivery, and drive operational performance across the Compliance & Tax technology portfolio. You will partner with Compliance and Tax leadership to shape investments, establish modern data‑driven solutions, and enable regulatory, governance, and business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, business, technology, engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within Financial Services technology.
• 5+ years leading large, cross-functional teams and managing external vendors.
• Proven ability to define and execute business-aligned technology strategies and roadmaps.
• Strong understanding of Compliance processes and operating models.
• Experience leading large-scale transformation and modernization initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute multi-year technology strategy and product roadmap for Compliance & Tax.
• Lead portfolio with governance, modernization, and value realization.
• Partner with executive leadership and enterprise architecture to align with standards.
• Drive cloud adoption, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities where appropriate.
• Manage budgets, vendor governance, and cost optimization while delivering business outcomes.
