CoxHealth is hiring a Registration Specialist I to assist patients with on-site registration and arrival for visits. You will collect demographic and insurance data, and manage patient financial obligations at the time of service.

You will greet patients and team members in a professional, friendly manner, supporting a positive patient experience. Some travel between CoxHealth sites and extended hours may be required.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferred: 1–2 years of related experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

The Registration Specialist is responsible for assisting patients during the on-site registration and arrival process for scheduled and unscheduled visits as well as completing financial clearance functions. This individual completes the registration for scheduled and unscheduled visits by collecting accurate demographic information, insurance information, and handling patient financial obligation at the time of service. The Registration Specialist I greets and serves patients and internal team members in a professional, friendly, and respectful manner to promote positive encounters. Some travel from site to site, as well as extended hours may be required of a Registration Specialist I based on business needs of the department.

Education

• Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience
• Preferred: 1-2 Years Related Experience
