Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One to two years hospital billing experience may substitute for education.
• Healthcare experience and knowledge of billing terms are required.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the facility mission, vision and values in daily work.
• Register patients in Paragon from clinic batches.
• Input CPT and HCPCS charges into the patient accounting system.
• Identify and correct charges and remove hold flags as needed.
• Review accounts for charge completeness and discrepancies.
