Job summary

UC Santa Cruz seeks an Associate Registrar, Systems to lead and coordinate the delivery of student records functionality within the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions AIS. The role acts as a technical and functional lead, mentoring Regsys analysts and partnering with ITS and campus offices to implement enhancements and ensure data integrity across enrollment, degree audits, transcripts, and related processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
• Progressively responsible project management experience.
• Demonstrated analytical skill to undertake complex analyses and provide recommendations.
• Advanced business and process analysis skills focusing on process and software design, modification, testing and implementation.
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Writing complex process and systems requirement specifications, user stories, test plans, security specifications and business processes.
• Experience with data mapping and reporting tools (SQL, PS Query, BO).

Responsibilities

• Identifies, evaluates and defines highly complex student records systems scope and objectives.
• Works independently on complex system analysis and designs.
• Represents the Office of the Registrar on cross-functional teams.
• Develops system test plans and performs testing for new functionality.
• Defines specifications for ad hoc and standard reports and assists with complex reporting challenges.
• Resolves AIS and related system incidents and supports production systems.
