Job summary

Harvard University in Cambridge, MA seeks a seasoned Registrar Business Analyst to lead registrar operations, enrollment planning, and data governance. You will serve as liaison across IT, College, and GSAS, drive process reinvention, and oversee testing for student information systems with training for new staff.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions or similar SIS, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 7 years’ relevant work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, business analytics, computer science, information technology or related field.
• Master's degree in statistics, business analytics, computer science, information technology, higher education administration or related field.
• 7+ years of post-secondary work experience with 3 to 5 years in business analysis, project management, registrar or other higher education unit.
• Experience using data for decision-making, reporting, and analysis.
• Experience using PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and its various modules and tools, and/or other student information systems.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated team performance and leadership skills, service mindset, and ability to act as a trusted advisor.
• Completion of Harvard IT Academy specified foundational courses (or external equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead registrar operations including enrolment services, academic planning, technology solutions implementation, and policy development.
• Act as liaison to IT, College, and GSAS; reinvention of processes across registrar sub-units.
• Provide data reporting and analysis across registrar portfolios; ensure data security access.
• Lead training for new employees and mentor Business Analysts on data governance.
• Lead complex user acceptance testing for the student information system and other processes.
