Job summary

Broward College in Weston, FL seeks an Analyst, Registrar Functional Business Process and Compliance. You will support the Registrar's office by analyzing data, generating reports, and coordinating SIS improvements with IT.

Qualifications

• Advanced ability in Microsoft Office products Excel and Word, Access, and SharePoint; capable of generating reports in Ellucian Banner Cloud based SaaS System with complex queries.
• A high degree of precision; must be organized and detail-oriented with multiple simultaneous projects.
• Strong interpersonal communication; able to work with all levels of the college community.
• Knowledge of the college systems and related areas; experience with administrative analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develops functional solutions and collaborates with cross-department teams to enhance business processes; analyzes fraudulent student records and troubleshoots with leadership/IT.
• Prepares reports from Institutional Research and Banner Cloud; supports area and divisional projects.
• Plans, tests, and implements system enhancements; ensures IT guidelines are followed; contributes to detailed project plans.
• Performs database maintenance and data accuracy tasks; creates/updates records and extrapolates data.
• Leads research and resolution of system issues; liaises between Registrar’s Office and IT.
• Defines user, system, and business requirements for new systems; documents functional/non-functional specs.
• Creates reports to identify data points for audits and data corrections; liaises with software vendors.
• Performs analytical tasks including writing reports and gathering specs; develops research strategies.
• Ensures SIS operability between Ellucian Banner and third-party systems with IT.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
