Job summary

Royal Vista Veterinary Specialists in Windsor, CO, is seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency team within Thrive Pet Healthcare. The role focuses on caring for critically ill and injured patients, including triage, admissions and discharge coordination.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of clinical experience as a veterinary technician, with active CVT/RVT/LVT credentials and background in emergency settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician.
• CVT/RVT/LVT credentials active and current required.
• Emergency veterinary setting experience strongly preferred, with anesthesia monitoring skills.

Royal Vista Veterinary Specialists is looking for an experienced, full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Windsor, CO.

You’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by delivering exceptional care to critically ill and injured patients. Your life-changing work will range from utilizing advanced technical skills in emergency procedures, treatments and diagnostics, to providing essential patient support services including triage, admissions and discharge coordination.

Your Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2+ years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care)
• CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) Required
• Experience in an Emergency Veterinary setting strongly preferred
• Has strong anesthesia skills (Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care)
• Possesses a positive work attitude
• Self-motivated
• Excellent communication and organization skills

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting range of $24 - $30 / hour. The actual compensation will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
