Job summary

Royal Vista Veterinary Specialists is seeking an experienced, full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our Traveling Specialty Surgery team in Windsor, CO. You will deliver patient care, assist with anesthesia, and provide lab support across admissions, surgery, and recovery.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care).
  • Active and current CVT/RVT/LVT license.
  • Specialty Surgery experience/exposure strongly preferred.
  • Strong anesthesia skills and ability to monitor and interpret vitals during procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional patient care as part of a traveling specialty surgery team.
  • Support surgical procedures and anesthesia.
  • Provide laboratory support and patient advocacy.
  • Ensure smooth care from admission through recovery and discharge.

Royal Vista Veterinary Specialists is looking for an experienced, full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our Traveling Specialty Surgery team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Windsor, CO.

About You

You’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by delivering exceptional patient care as part of a traveling specialty surgery team. Your life-changing work will range from utilizing advanced technical skills to support surgical procedures and anesthesia, to providing laboratory support, patient advocacy and seamless care from admission through recovery and discharge.

Your Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care)
  • CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) required
  • Specialty Surgery experience/exposure strongly preferred
  • Has strong anesthesia skills (Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care)
  • Posesses a positive work attitude
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent communication and organization skills

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting range of $24 - $30 / hour. The actual compensation will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
