Royal Vista Veterinary Specialists is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our Traveling Specialty Surgery team in Windsor, CO. You will provide direct patient care, assist with anesthesia, and support the surgical team throughout admission, surgery, recovery, and discharge.

Your expertise in anesthesia, lab work, and care coordination will contribute to exceptional patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care).
• CVT/RVT/LVT license active and current required.
• Specialty Surgery experience/exposure strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support surgical procedures and anesthesia on traveling specialty surgery team.
• Provide laboratory support, patient advocacy, and seamless care from admission through recovery and discharge.
• Collaborate with doctors and staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

Royal Vista Veterinary Specialists is looking for an experienced, full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our Traveling Specialty Surgery team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Windsor, CO.

About You

You’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by delivering exceptional patient care as part of a traveling specialty surgery team. Your life-changing work will range from utilizing advanced technical skills to support surgical procedures and anesthesia, to providing laboratory support, patient advocacy and seamless care from admission through recovery and discharge.

Your Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care)
• CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) required
• Specialty Surgery experience/exposure strongly preferred
• Has strong anesthesia skills (Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care)
• Posesses a positive work attitude
• Self-motivated
• Excellent communication and organization skills

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting range of $24 - $30 / hour. The actual compensation will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
