Veterinary Technician/Assistants – Emergency
Fort Collins Veterinary Emergency Hospital, Fort Collins, CO
Compensation: $18–$24/hour (based on experience)
Part‑time – Fri–Sat: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM

What You’ll Do

• Support veterinarians in emergency exams, treatments, and procedures
• Assist with surgeries, anesthesia monitoring, and post‑operative care
• Provide nursing care and first aid to critical and recovering patients
• Monitor and interpret patient vitals (BP, ECG, SpO₂, EtCO₂)
• Collect samples and perform basic in‑house diagnostics
• Operate radiology and other diagnostic equipment
• Administer medications and treatments as directed
• Accurately document patient care and medical records
• Maintain clean, organized, and sterile treatment areas
• Collaborate with teammates to support efficient patient flow

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of veterinary experience
• Emergency experience preferred
• LVT/RVT/CVT encouraged, but not required
• Strong technical skills, including anesthesia monitoring and patient care
• Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast‑paced ER environment
