The ER/ECC Technician’s primary responsibility is to triage patients as they present to the Emergency Room according to triage levels. Assess pets and provide immediate life-saving care under the direction of the ER doctor as required for critical patients. Provide history, vitals, and concerns to doctors to assist in timely and appropriate management of emergency patients. Work with float technicians and assistants to perform diagnostics, execute treatment plans, and/or hospitalize the patient. Communicate medical updates, financial, and treatment plans to owners.
