Job summary

RiNoVet in Denver, CO is seeking an Overnight Emergency Veterinary Technician to provide critical care for emergency patients and assist with procedures under veterinarians. You will monitor anesthesia, perform phlebotomy, and support the team during overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• CVT/RVT/LVT credential strongly preferred or experienced technicians welcome.

• Assist with CPR, induction/intubation, anesthesia monitoring and procedures.
• Support veterinarians and maintain hospital standards during overnight shifts.

Expectations of this position:

• Advanced knowledge of emergency veterinary medicine (CPR, induction/intubation, anesthesia monitoring, phlebotomy, catheterizations, medication administration, restraint, aseptic and sterile techniques, critical care monitoring, hospitalized patient care and procedures, etc.)
• Ability to work with different types of people and learning styles, capable of handling multiple tasks.
• Must possess a collaborative mindset open to growth and change as the hospital evolves.
• Schedule availability to work overnight or swing shifts. Weekends are required.
• Versatile and innovative in approaching problems

• Preference will be given to credentialed technician candidates. However, experienced on-the-job trained technicians are encouraged to apply!

We are currently hiring for overnight shifts, with overlap including at least one weekend shift per week.
