Job summary

RiNoVet is seeking an Emergency Veterinary Technician for overnight coverage in downtown Denver. The role requires a CVT/RVT/LVT with emergency and critical care experience and a collaborative mindset to support our growing practice.

Qualifications

• CVT/RVT/LVT with emergency and critical care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and critical care to hospitalized patients.
• Perform CPR, anesthesia monitoring, phlebotomy, catheterizations.
• Restrain, administer medications, monitor patients.
• Collaborate with specialists and team for patient care.
• Overnight shift coverage with weekend overlap.

Expectations of this position:

• Advanced knowledge of emergency veterinary medicine (CPR, induction/intubation, anesthesia monitoring, phlebotomy, catheterizations, medication administration, restraint, aseptic and sterile techniques, critical care monitoring, hospitalized patient care and procedures, etc.)
• Ability to work with different types of people and learning styles, capable of handling multiple tasks.
• Must possess a collaborative mindset open to growth and change as the hospital evolves.
• Schedule availability to work overnight or swing shifts. Weekends are required.
• Versatile and innovative in approaching problems
