Job description

As a Registered Vascular Technologist, you will perform vascular ultrasound examinations of patients' lower extremities and other studies as needed, ensuring excellent patient service and efficient workflow. This full-time position is Monday - Friday and offers flexibility to work at our clinics in Naperville, Plainfield, Orland Park, and Frankfort.

Responsibilities

1. Perform ultrasound examinations to create Venous Flow Maps for treatment planning.
2. Assist physicians in explaining treatment plans to patients, tailored to their needs.
3. Prepare and clean procedure, exam, and ultrasound rooms before and after each patient.
4. Conduct additional ultrasound exams as required by the physician's treatment plan.
5. Adhere to standard time allotments for each ultrasound to maintain patient flow.
6. Coordinate with staff and physicians to review schedules, ensuring availability and safety.
7. Maintain and improve skills through continued education and professional interaction.
8. Manage equipment and supply inventory to ensure operational effectiveness.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. Certificate of Completion from an accredited Ultrasound program.
2. Registration as a Vascular Technologist, Vascular Specialist, or Phlebology Sonographer (RVT / RVS / RpHS), required within 90 days of hire.
3. Cultural sensitivity and excellent patient care skills.
4. Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
5. Strong multitasking, prioritization, and teamwork skills.
